An Idea is born . . .

It's amazing what getting away from the people you are traveling with can do for you.

Chris and I got a room, went to lunch, did laundry and are just relaxing and not answering our phones. The band has gotten on our last nerve so it's good that we are away.

We are leaving tomorrow for beautiful Vancouver BC in Canada. It's really a beautiful place. Unfortunately it looks like the whole Pacific Northwest is getting pummeled with a winter storm. It's ok, the rain will make me feel like I am at home.

My cough is still bad and I feel lousy. I have the entire evening to rest as well as all day and evening tomorrow as well.

I am eagerly awaiting the Flaming Lips reunion. I will see them in 24 days. I am excited about that. My blog from that tour should be really interesting as we are building a circus tent with a military style PA system, lasers, smoke machines, aliens, santa's balloons, confetti, and fun to boot. I just came up with the idea of having giant paintings outside of it like the old carnival advertising what is inside the tent, i.e. freaks, bearded lady, lobster boy, etc, but have it tie in with the characters from Wayne's movie which is what we will be showing. Chris is going to call him tomorrow and run it by him. I think it's a grand idea that will only get bigger and better on a daily basis. The fact that Wayne is such a talented artist will make it even cooler then what I am imagining.

I am already feeling better and getting excited about this coming summer with The Flaming Lips.  It's going to be great. In the meantime I will keep within this thought. I will spend my time thinking of the future rather then the present, which normally goes against everything I believe in but my present is what it is and I have grown rather weary of it. On to creative endeavors.

Yay! I am happy again.
I hope that all of you are as well.

If I had to live my life again, I'd make the same mistakes, only sooner.

I'll post pictures from Cananda.
 Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
Peace, Peace, Peace.
