It's 4:30 pm and we are still sitting where we have been all day. We are having a mechanic replace all four batteries in the bus. If this is done and we hit the road by 6:00 pm we will most likely get to the gig by 10:00 or 10:30 set up and play immediately.
There is a lot of stress going on right now. If this doesn't work we are going to have to cancel the show and that would be a drag as the ticket sales are really good for this one.
I have heard stories about things like this but now I am living it. It's better to hear about the stories and the triumphant arrival of the band and the gig being a success, it's another thing when you are living it and trying to make it happen.
