Not on the road. . . Again ! ! !

Well, today I awoke to find the bus still parked outside of last evenings venue. We were supposed to leave at 6:00 am. I looked at my clock when I awoke and it was 9:00 am. The driver didn't switch the battery over to the generator before he went to the hotel and well, the bus wouldn't start this morning. The generator was working alongside the battery that was draining so we still had ac and heat that was coming from the generator.

In the meantime we have run out of supplies on the bus. We also ran out of water in the bus, which means no flushing toilet or sink to wash our hands. (good thing I have water, food, etc in my bunk.)

So the driver isn't able to find anyone at the moment. He also got us lost last evening on the way to the gig. He also thinks that Global warming is Al Gores fault and that Nobel Peace Prizes are handed out to people who are Anti American and Terrorists. This guy is a piece of work. I'm not sure about this guy.

Things are not that great on this tour. I am however fine with it. It is what it is and for some reason unbeknownst to me fully at the moment the universe has placed me out here. I have a feeling that there are quite a few lessons that I am going to learn out here.

The opening band for tonight has pulled out of the gig as well. That happened last evening as well but another band came in and filled the slot.

This so far is the lamest tour that I have ever been on. Still, it's ok, it can only really get better from here. I remain optimistic. The good thing is, that I had a feeling it would be like this before I left home. I hate to tell you but to those who I did, I told you so. It's ok. I am learning a lot of patience.

The drummer and the keyboard/guitar/singer just woke up. They are really really, really, really, unhappy at the moment. I think I am going to be somewhat quite and watch things unfold.

I'll keep you posted.

34 days to go.
