Is there anybody out there?

So this is going to be an interesting tour. Some nights are going to be small, like this evening, and some nights are going to be big, like New York, Chicago, and San Fran. It's interesting to see the dynamic shift that occurs between venues. Tonight is well, the smallest gig that I have seen in years. It's a bit humbling for the band.

We are already having technical difficulties with the lead singers guitar which no one can figure out at the moment. The bummer is that it is crucial to his sound to use this particular guitar through his very particular silvertone amplifier. This is going make for an interesting tour.

Arizona is really beautiful this time of year. It's warm, like, man I should be wearing shorts warm. There is a no smoking policy here as well which is sweet. I would like to spend more time here in the winter time. I understand why old people move here, it's a bit better then Florida for sure.

The opening band is on at the moment and I am watching the Merchandise table. This is going to bring back a lot of memories from the old days when I started touring. It's cool, but I have a lot of guitars to tune before the band goes on so this may be a bit of a challenge. I think we should hire a merchandiser in each town to take care of this so I can attend to other things, but, put me in coach, I'm here to do what needs to be done.

The bus is fixed from this mornings fiasco and hopefully we don't have any problems for a while. We are driving towards Dallas tonight. We have the day off tomorrow and we may get to stop in St Angelo texas for eight hours while the driver sleeps. Cool thing is, is that my brother lives there. I rarely see him so I would be stoked to spend the day with him.

Nobody is coming to this show. The second band hasn't even shown up yet. Oh well, I gotta pay the bills.

I started reading the Yoga Sutras last evening and am going to continue reading as much as I can on this tour. It's going to be rough to keep consistent with my asana practice. I did however practice the Yoga Nidra in Savasana today for an hour and a half while we were driving. It was really beneficial.

If we are near a park tomorrow I am going to go and take my mat and find a place to practice. I already feel strange having not practiced for two days.

I just heard that we have only sold 24 tickets in Dallas. Jeesh. This is weird.

My head is up, gonna keep it that way. Hopefully I will have some good stories from tonight's performance.

Rock n Roll Yo
